NEW YORK CITY GIRLS BASKETBALL OFFICIALS AFFILIATION

NYCGBOA has been providing New York City with a consistently high level of officiating for decades. Our officials are trained, certified, and assessed on their abilities to provide safe, fair, and enjoyable competitive experiences for players, coaches, and fans. 

BECOME A REFEREE

Requirements:
Attend 1 of 3 Business Meetings
Attend a NYSGBOA Interpretation Meeting
Pass exam with a score of 84% or better
Pay board dues by March 15th

VIRTUAL FALL BUSINESS & INTERPRETATION MEETING

The Executive Board has decided to have its usual IN-PERSON meeting via ZOOM

​

ALL  ACTIVE AND INACTIVE MEMBERS MUST ATTEND a N.Y.S. CERTIFIED INTERPRETATION MEETING 

with any of the 26 STATE BOARDS if you are unable to attend the Official NYCGBOA meeting.

 

OTHER BOARDS INTERPRETATION DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED

AFTER THE OCTOBER 1ST STATE MEETING

 

ALL ACTIVE MEMBERS MUST ATTEND (1) NYCGBOA BUSINESS MEETING.

YOU MAY NOT ATTEND ANY OTHER BOARD BUSINESS MEETING AND COUNT IT AS ATTENDING THE NYCGBOA.
